locations

the hour of living was shot entirely on location, mostly just as we found each one of them.

the first two weeks of our month-long shoot we spent in safiental, a rugged and remote mountain valley in the swiss canton of graubünden.  we then shot a few scenes in basel and zürich before detouring via the pretty coastal village of polperro in cornwall on our way to london.  a tiny core team then finally met up with our hungarian unit in budapest for one crucial scene.

our thanks go to everyone who has helped us by allowing us to use their homes and places of work for the making of our film.

safiental

basel

london

where theo and conrad consider adopting an ant, where harry sends theo on a quest and where there is unfinished business as well as business that is yet to commence

budapest
