the team |
the hour of living is being made by a team of people who have all come together to do this for the love of it rather than for any financial reward. it's in the nature of a no-budget project that any money raised goes straight towards actual cash expenditure, like getting to locations, staying and surviving there.
even so, we have brought together on this project people with an impressive array of vastly varying levels of experience and backgrounds. all our actors are trained professionals who have worked in theatre, TV and film and some of whom are extremely well known and highly respected in their own countries: christoph schwegler is practically a household name in switzerland, charlotte heinimann regularly appears on swiss TV, andrea spolarics is one of hungary's most celebrated stage actresses and gary grant was for several years a regular face on british television screens as dc riley on the long-running daily police drama the bill. sam fordham, who is playing the lead, is a recent graduate from london's east 15 acting school and drama centre london and this is his feature film debut. our crew consists mainly of young people who are just starting out in their careers in film and media and take this as their opportunity to gain valuable experience on small production units where they will be constantly in demand, and our creative team have made between them several short films which have screened at many international film festivals. our coproducer pascal verdosci has written and directed extensively for television and he has recently completed his own first feature film as a director of manipulation, starring klaus maria brandauer, which premiered in switzerland early 2011. use the drop down menu to access individual team members' details. |
